Direct HLS capture
Uses the approved feed stored in the hosting configuration. No publisher browser or local microphone is required. Confirm the correct meeting, playable audio/video and allowed media hosts before starting.
Video sampling is optional and bounded. Offsets are approximate because video and audio are fetched separately. A visual failure does not stop transcription. Publication is a separate operation.
Optional closing-screen stop
Arm only after the meeting has begun. Use distinctive words from its closing slate, never a logo also used for opening or recess. Five continuous minutes of high-confidence OCR matches stops this capture and saves its tail. Missing frames, fresh transcript speech, interim speech or new coverage gaps reset the timer. Disarm at any time; re-arm after restart. Requires HLS video/OCR sampling; does not stop independent backups.
Stream playback
Capture and video sharing are separate. A published meeting also needs video sharing enabled before visitors can watch. Previously issued playback links can remain valid for up to seven hours after unsharing.
